Amclav DS 312.5 mg/5 ml Syrup – Effective Broad-Spectrum Antibiotic

Amclav DS Syrup is a potent oral suspension combining amoxicillin and clavulanic acid (co-amoxiclav) to fight a wide variety of bacterial infections. The “DS” strength (312.5 mg per 5 ml) provides a concentrated dose, making it especially useful in moderate-to-severe infections or when a strong antibacterial effect is needed.

This syrup is particularly suitable for children, individuals who have difficulty swallowing tablets, or those requiring flexible dose adjustments. Manufactured by Getz Pharma in Pakistan, it’s designed to treat infections like sinusitis, otitis media, respiratory tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and more.

  • Treats a broad spectrum of bacterial infections
  • Effective against beta-lactamase producing (“resistant”) bacteria
  • Liquid form makes it easy to dose for children or people who can't swallow pills
  • Flexible dosing based on body weight or age
  • Helps ensure compliance with a full antibiotic course

  1. Shake the bottle well before each dose to mix the suspension properly.
  2. Use a measuring spoon or dosing cup to draw the exact amount prescribed.
  3. Administer orally, preferably with food to minimize stomach upset.
  4. Typically given 2–3 times daily, depending on the infection and doctor’s instructions.
  5. Finish the full course, even if symptoms improve sooner.
