Permiriv Lotion 5% (60 ml) contains Permethrin 5% w/v, a potent topical scabicide and pediculicide, manufactured by Maxitech Pharma. The product is designed specifically for the treatment of infestations by the mite Scabies (Sarcoptes scabiei) and other parasitic skin insects. 
Permethrin works by interrupting the nervous system of parasites, leading to paralysis and death of mites and lice while remaining safe for human skin when used correctly. 
The 60 ml lotion format supports full-body application and is suited for adult and paediatric use (as per physician direction) for effective eradication of infestations.

1. What condition does Permiriv Lotion treat?
It is indicated for the treatment of scabies (Sarcoptes scabiei mite infestation) in adults and children two months of age and older.

2. How soon should I expect relief?
Itch and rash may continue for several days after mites are killed; clinical improvement often occurs within one week, but treatment may need to be reassessed after 14 days.

3. Is it safe for children or during pregnancy?
Use in infants and during pregnancy requires physician supervision. Safety data is limited in certain populations—consult your doctor.

4. What are common side-effects?
Possible side-effects include temporary burning, stinging, redness, itching, or transient numbness at the application site.

5. Can I reuse the product for reinfestation?
If symptoms persist or reinfestation is suspected after two weeks, a second application may be necessary under medical advice.
