Trusted Powder Treatment for Fungal Skin Infections

The 1% Clotrimazole Powder 50 g is a specialized topical antifungal powder formulated with clotrimazole 1% w/w, ideal for managing superficial fungal skin infections such as tinea pedis (athlete’s foot), tinea cruris (jock itch), tinea corporis (ringworm), and intertriginous candidal infections.
Studies show that 1% clotrimazole powder can be as effective as 1% clotrimazole cream in treating tinea cruris, making it a viable option especially in areas prone to moisture and friction.
Its powder form helps keep the affected areas dry, absorb excess sweat, reduce friction and enhance comfort while delivering antifungal action.

  • Powerful antifungal action that destroys fungus by disrupting its cell membrane (clotrimazole mechanism).
  • Powder form helps keep the area dry, absorbs sweat and reduces friction—key for infections in folds or high-moisture zones.
  • Suitable for full-body application (feet, groin, body folds) in one convenient 50 g size.
  • Can be used as adjunct or preventive therapy in recurrent fungal-prone zones where moisture or sweating is frequent.
  • Helps relieve itching, burning and discomfort associated with fungal skin infections, improving quality of life.

  1. Cleanse and thoroughly dry the affected area before application.
  2. Apply a thin layer of the powder to the affected skin and surrounding ~1 cm of normal skin (especially in folds or moisture-prone areas).
  3. Use 2–3 times daily or as your healthcare provider directs.
  4. For foot infections, include the spaces between toes and dust inside socks/shoes to reduce reinfection.
  5. Continue treatment for the full recommended duration (commonly up to 2–4 weeks) and monitor the skin; if there is no improvement, seek further advice.

1. What conditions does this powder treat?
It treats superficial fungal skin infections—including athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), ringworm (tinea corporis) and some inter-triginous fungal infections.

2. Is the powder form as effective as creams?
Yes — research indicates that 1% clotrimazole powder has similar efficacy to 1% cream in certain infections (such as tinea cruris) and may offer additional benefits in sweat-prone or moist areas.

3. How long before I see relief?
You may notice reduction in itching or irritation within several days; visible clearing of infection may take 1–4 weeks depending on area and severity.

4. Can I use it in body folds or under arms?
Yes—powder is especially suited for inter-triginous and moist areas such as groins, underarms, and beneath breasts. Be consistent with hygiene and drying.

5. Can I stop once symptoms disappear?
No—complete you full course of treatment even if symptoms improve early, to prevent recurrence. If no improvement in 2–4 weeks, consult a healthcare provider.
