Moxiget 400mg/250ml Infusion – Ready-to-Use Moxifloxacin IV for Fast, Hospital-Grade Bacterial Clearance

Moxiget 400mg/250ml is a ready-to-hang intravenous infusion containing Moxifloxacin 400mg – a powerful 4th-generation fluoroquinolone that kills tough Gram-positive, Gram-negative, and anaerobic bacteria in one daily dose. Specially formulated for severe community-acquired pneumonia, complicated skin/soft-tissue infections, intra-abdominal infections, and when oral therapy isn’t possible. Its 100% bioavailability and excellent lung & tissue penetration make it a trusted choice for critical cases needing rapid, once-daily IV treatment.

  • Once-daily 60-minute infusion
  • 100% bioavailability for critical infections
  • Broadest-spectrum fluoroquinolone IV
  • Seamless IV-to-oral switch therapy
  • Excellent lung, skin & abdominal penetration

  1. Administered only by doctor or nurse
  2. Full 250ml bottle infused intravenously over exactly 60 minutes
  3. Once daily for 5–14 days depending on infection type
  4. Can switch to oral Moxiget 400mg tablet when patient improves
  5. Do not mix with other drugs in the same line

Q1: How long does the infusion take?
A1: Exactly 60 minutes – faster or slower can reduce efficacy or increase side effects.

Q2: When can I switch to tablets?
A2: Usually within 2–4 days when fever drops and you can take oral meds.

Q3: Is it stronger than oral Moxiget?
A3: Same 400mg dose but 100% absorption – ideal when patient is very sick or NPO.

Q4: Will it cause tendon problems like other quinolones?
A4: Risk is low but real – report any sudden pain in Achilles or shoulders immediately.

Q5: Can it be given at home?
A5: Only if prescribed under strict home-infusion supervision; usually hospital use.

Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride 400mg, Sodium Chloride, Water for Injection, Hydrochloric Acid/Sodium Hydroxide for pH adjustment
