Daplyza 10 mg (active ingredient: dapagliflozin) is a prescription-strength tablet used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes. 
As a sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor, dapagliflozin reduces the reabsorption of glucose in the kidneys, causing more sugar to be excreted through the urine — which helps lower blood glucose levels.
In addition to its glucose-lowering effect, Daplyza has been shown to provide cardiovascular and renal benefits: it reduces the risk of hospitalization for heart failure and slows down the decline in kidney function in high-risk patients.
