Accurate Home Blood Pressure Monitoring for Adults & Families

The Certeza BM-405 Arm Blood Pressure Monitor is a fully-automatic upper-arm device designed for home use by adults who need reliable readings without the complexity of clinical setups. It supports arm circumferences from 22-42 cm and offers one-button automatic inflation using an advanced third-generation inflation technology.
The large LCD display ensures legible results, while built-in features include an irregular heartbeat detection indicator, cuff wrap error signal and memory storage, allowing you to track your blood pressure and pulse over time with confidence.

  • Enables regular, accurate blood pressure tracking at home, empowering users to monitor cardiovascular health and share trends with their doctor.
  • Built-in error-warning features (cuff wrap, motion, irregular heartbeat) help reduce measurement mistakes and deliver more reliable results.
  • Supports a wide arm size range (22-42 cm) making it versatile for most adults.
  • One-touch operation and large display simplify use for older users or those who may be new to home monitoring.
  • Compact and lightweight design makes the monitor portable—ideal for home, office or travel use.

  1. Wrap the cuff snugly around your upper arm (22-42 cm circumference), approximately 1 cm above the elbow, and ensure the air tube is aligned with your arm’s artery.
  2. Sit upright in a chair with back support, legs uncrossed, feet flat on the floor, and your arm resting on a table at heart level.
  3. Press the Start button—remain still and silent while the device inflates and measures.
  4. After inflation stops the LCD will display your systolic, diastolic and pulse readings; it will also indicate if an irregular heartbeat was detected.
  5. Record your readings or refer to the stored data (user memory); repeat measurement after 1-2 minutes and use the average of consecutive readings for accurate monitoring.

1. Can this monitor be used by more than one person?

Yes— while explicit memory for two users may vary by batch, the device supports generic storage and tracking of multiple readings; check model specifics at purchase.

2. Is my arm size compatible with this monitor?
Yes—it fits arms with circumference from 22 to 42 cm, covering most adult upper-arm sizes.

3. What does the irregular heartbeat indicator mean?
The monitor detects anomalies in your pulse rhythm during measurement and flags them as a heads-up—this is not a diagnosis but prompts consulting your doctor.

4. How should I interpret the readings?
Compare your results with your doctor’s target values; home readings may differ from clinical ones due to conditions—use trends, not single values, for decisions.

5. How often should I replace batteries or service the unit?
Use fresh high-quality batteries and replace them when low-battery icon appears. Cuff and tubing should be inspected periodically for wear; calibration may be needed every 2-3 years or as recommended by the manufacturer.

  • Sit quietly for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement; ensure the cuff is applied to bare upper arm at heart height and you remain still and silent during inflation.
  • Avoid measuring immediately after heavy exercise, caffeine intake or a hot bath—these factors can skew the reading.
  • This device is for home monitoring only and not a substitute for professional medical diagnosis or treatment—always consult your physician for interpretation of high readings.
  • Do not use the device on a limb with a shunt, fistula, major injury, or intravenous line—choose the alternate arm instead.
  • Store the monitor in a cool, dry place; remove batteries if unused for long periods, and ensure the cuff remains flat and free from crease or damage.
