Celbexx 200 mg Capsule – Powerful Long‑Lasting Relief for Inflammation & Pain

Celbexx 200 mg capsules contain celecoxib, a selective COX‑2 inhibitor that reduces pain and inflammation while minimizing the risk of stomach irritation commonly associated with traditional NSAIDs.

This high-strength capsule is useful for managing chronic inflammatory conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis, as well as for short-term use in acute pain and primary dysmenorrhea. It offers convenient once- or twice-daily dosing and can be taken with or without food.

  • Effective relief of pain and inflammation
  • Particularly helpful in chronic arthritis conditions
  • Reduced risk of GI side effects compared to traditional NSAIDs
  • Flexible dosing — 200 mg once or twice daily depending on need
  • Trusted formulation from Getz Pharma

  1. Take 1 capsule (200 mg) orally, as prescribed by your doctor.
  2. Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water — do not chew or open it.
  3. You may take it with or without food; however, if you feel stomach upset, take it with a meal.
  4. For chronic conditions (arthritis), your doctor may advise 200 mg once daily or 100 mg twice daily, depending on your response.
  5. Use the lowest effective dose and keep treatment duration as short as possible to reduce risk of side effects.

Q1: What is Celbexx 200 mg used for?
A1: It’s commonly used for arthritis (osteoarthritis, rheumatoid), ankylosing spondylitis, acute pain, and painful menstrual cramps.

Q2: Will it hurt my stomach like other painkillers?
A2: Celecoxib is more selective to COX‑2, so it generally causes less gastric irritation than non-selective NSAIDs, but it’s not risk-free.

Q3: How long does it take to work?
A3: Some reduce pain within hours; for full anti‑inflammatory effect (especially in arthritis), it may take several days of consistent use.

Q4: What are common side effects?
A4: Possible side effects include stomach upset, headache, dizziness, swelling, and rash.

Q5: What if I take too much?
A5: Overdose symptoms may include drowsiness, nausea, stomach pain, and breathing difficulties — seek medical attention immediately.

Celecoxib 200 mg (active), plus excipients such as lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, magnesium stearate, and capsule shell materials.

  • Do not use if you are allergic to celecoxib, sulfonamides, or other NSAIDs.
  • Use with caution in patients with heart disease, high blood pressure, or a history of stroke — COX‑2 inhibitors may increase cardiovascular risk.
  • In people with liver or kidney issues, careful monitoring or dose adjustments may be necessary.
  • Avoid in active gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcer disease, or history of GI perforation. (Based on celecoxib class risks.)
  • During late pregnancy (third trimester), celecoxib is generally avoided because of possible effects on fetal circulation.
  • Store at room temperature (20–30 °C) in a dry place, protecting from moisture.
