Solifen 5 mg Tablet – Targeted Relief from Urgency & Frequent Urination

Solifen 5 mg Tablet contains the active ingredient Solifenacin succinate, an antimuscarinic agent designed to reduce the symptoms of an overactive bladder (OAB) — such as sudden urges to urinate, frequent trips to the bathroom, and urge incontinence.
By relaxing the detrusor muscle in the bladder wall, Solifen helps increase bladder capacity and reduce involuntary bladder contractions.

  • Reduces urgency and frequency of urination
  • Helps reduce episodes of urge incontinence
  • Improves quality of life by enhancing bladder control
  • Convenient once‑daily dosing
  • Full treatment effect established within weeks when used consistently

  1. Take one 5 mg tablet once daily, with or without food, or as directed by your physician.
  2. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew.
  3. If treatment is being started, your doctor may evaluate after 4 weeks to determine if dose adjustment is needed.
  4. Continue therapy even if symptoms improve — abrupt discontinuation may reduce benefit.
  5. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is nearly time for your next dose; do not double dose.

Q: What is this drug used for?
A: It’s used for adult patients who experience symptoms of overactive bladder, such as urgency, frequency, and urge incontinence.

Q: How long until I see results?
A: Some benefit may be seen early, but the full effect often requires about 4 weeks of regular use.

Q: Can I drive while taking it?
A: Possibly — because blurred vision or dizziness may occur, you should evaluate how you feel before driving or using machinery.

Q: Are there age restrictions?
A: Yes — use in children under 18 years is not established; elderly patients may need closer monitoring.

Q: Can men and women both use it?
A: Yes — it is indicated for adult men and women with OAB symptoms unless contraindicated.
