Acogest contains acotiamide HCl hydrate, a prokinetic agent used to treat functional dyspepsia, especially symptoms like postprandial fullness, early satiety, bloating, and upper abdominal discomfort. 
It works by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase, which increases acetylcholine levels in the stomach, thereby boosting gastric motility and improving digestion.
