Cipesta 125mg/5ml Syrup – Effective Oral Suspension for Bacterial Infections

Cipesta is an oral suspension by Getz Pharma that contains ciprofloxacin, a potent fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Each 5 ml of this syrup provides 125 mg of the active drug.
It’s used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and skin infections, thanks to its broad-spectrum antibacterial action.
The syrup form makes it easier to dose, particularly in children or patients who have difficulty swallowing pills.

  • Broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against many types of bacteria
  • Oral liquid form makes it easier to administer to children and those who cannot swallow tablets
  • Flexible dosing, especially in weight-based treatments
  • Manufactured by a trusted pharmaceutical company (Getz Pharma)

  1. Shake the bottle well before each use to ensure the medicine is well mixed.
  2. Use a measuring spoon, oral syringe, or cup to measure the prescribed dose.
  3. Take the syrup by mouth, with or without food. (If it upsets your stomach, take with food.)
  4. Take exactly as prescribed, usually twice a day — or follow your doctor’s instructions.
  5. Complete the full course of treatment, even if you feel better before it's finished.

Q1: What infections is Cipesta syrup used for?

Q2: Is Cipesta syrup safe for children?
A2: It can be used in children, but only under a doctor’s supervision — the dose depends on age and weight.

Q3: What are common side effects?
A3: Side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, headache, dizziness, and possible allergic reactions.
