Targeted Topical Treatment for Warts, Corns & Calluses

Wart-Off Lotion 15 ml is a specialised keratolytic topical solution formulated for the removal of common warts, plantar warts, corns and calluses. It is manufactured by Crystolite Pharmaceuticals and contains a dual-acid combination of salicylic acid (~16.7% w/v) and lactic acid (~16.7% w/v)
The mechanism involves softening and exfoliating the thickened skin layers of the wart or callus, allowing gradual removal of the lesion and restoration of smoother skin.
This product is suitable for adult patients (and older children under supervision) for home-use as directed by a dermatologist or pharmacist, especially in cases where warts have been persistent or recurrent.

  • Effectively softens and dissolves wart or callus tissue via a proven keratolytic acid combination.
  • Enables at-home treatment of warts and corns, reducing need for invasive procedures in many cases.
  • Precision applicator allows targeted application to lesion while protecting surrounding skin.
  • Cost-effective solution for persistent or recurrent warts, especially on hands or feet.
  • After lesion removal, supports smoother skin texture by assisting exfoliation of thickened or hypertrophic tissue.

  1. Soak the affected area (e.g., foot or hand) in warm water for 5-10 minutes to soften the lesion and surrounding tissue.
  2. Dry the area thoroughly — ensure no moisture remains.
  3. Apply a thin layer of Wart-Off Lotion directly onto the wart, corn or callus using the applicator. Avoid applying to the surrounding healthy skin.
  4. Let the product dry completely and allow it to remain uncovered unless otherwise directed.
  5. Repeat the application once or twice daily (or as your dermatologist prescribes) until the lesion is fully removed. Monitor progress; if no improvement after several weeks, consult your doctor.
  6. Maintain follow-up care: after lesion removal, moisturise the area, protect from trauma, and cover with sterile dressing if needed to prevent recurrence.

1. What kinds of lesions can Wart-Off Lotion treat?
It is intended for common warts, plantar warts (verrucas), corns and calluses.

2. How soon will I see results?
Initial improvement (reduction in thickness, softening, peeling) can appear within 1-2 weeks; complete resolution often takes several weeks depending on size, location and chronicity of the wart.

3. Can I use it on sensitive areas like the face or genital region?
No — this formulation is designed for hands, feet or thickened skin areas. Use in sensitive zones (face, genitalia, mucous membranes) is not recommended without specialist advice.

4. Are there side-effects?
Yes — common side-effects include local irritation, redness, burning sensation or peeling of treated skin. Rarely, neighbouring healthy skin may be affected if not protected.

5. What if the wart returns after treatment?
Warts can recur. After resolution, maintain good hygiene, protect the area, and follow up with your dermatologist if recurrence occurs for further evaluation or alternative treatments.

Salicylic Acid (~16.7% w/v), Lactic Acid (~16.7% w/v), plus lotion base (aqueous solution, emulsifiers, stabilisers, preservatives)

  • For external use only. Do not apply to broken, inflamed, infected or sun-burned skin.
  • Avoid contact with eyes, lips, mucous membranes or healthy skin. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • May cause stinging, burning, irritation, redness or peeling of the treated area. If severe or prolonged, discontinue and consult your dermatologist.
  • Because keratolytic agents can increase skin-sensitivity: limit sun exposure, use protective footwear on plantar warts, avoid aggressive mechanical trauma to the area.
  • Not recommended for use on children without professional advice; pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a healthcare provider before use.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and keep out of reach of children.
