  1. Roll vial gently between palms 10 times until evenly cloudy
  2. Draw exact dose with insulin syringe
  3. Inject under the skin (abdomen, thigh, buttock, or arm)
  4. Usually given once or twice daily as prescribed
  5. Once opened, usable at room temp (<30°C) for 28 days
