Cova H 80/12.5 mg is a combination prescription tablet containing Valsartan (80 mg), an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), and Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg), a thiazide diuretic. 
This fixed-dose combination works by relaxing blood vessels (thanks to valsartan) and reducing fluid volume in the body (via hydrochlorothiazide), helping to lower high blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications.
It’s typically taken once daily and is used either when monotherapy isn’t enough or as initial therapy in patients likely to need multiple drugs.
