The tablet is designed to be taken orally and delivers effective drug levels to fight off gram-negative and some gram-positive bacteria.

  • Treats a wide range of serious bacterial infections

  • High potency – effective even at 250 mg
  • Manufactured by a trusted pharmaceutical company (Getz Pharma)

  1. Take 1 tablet (250 mg) with a full glass of water.
  2. You can take it with or without food. If it upsets your stomach, take it with a meal.
  3. Typical adult dose: 250–500 mg every 12 hours, depending on infection type and severity.
  4. Drink plenty of fluids while on treatment to avoid dehydration and help flush the drug.
  5. Complete the full prescribed course, even if your symptoms improve before it's finished.

  • Stop immediately if you have a severe allergic reaction (rash, itching, swelling) to ciprofloxacin.
  • Use with caution in patients with seizure disorders or central nervous system (CNS) issues, because ciprofloxacin may lower the seizure threshold.
  • Ensure you are well-hydrated; ciprofloxacin can cause crystalluria if urine is too concentrated.
  • Avoid concurrent use of antacids, calcium, iron, or zinc within 2 hours before or after taking the tablet, as they reduce absorption. (Based on drug class behavior.)
  • Limit exposure to strong sunlight — ciprofloxacin can cause photosensitivity. (General fluoroquinolone risk)
  • For patients with reduced kidney function, dose adjustment may be needed.
