Celbexx 100 mg Capsule – Targeted COX‑2 Inhibition for Arthritis & Pain

Celbexx capsules contain celecoxib, a selective COX‑2 inhibitor (a modern NSAID) used to relieve pain, inflammation, and swelling. It's especially prescribed for conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute pain, including menstrual cramps.
Because celecoxib specifically targets COX-2, it tends to cause less stomach irritation and a lower risk of gastrointestinal bleeding compared to traditional NSAIDs.

  • Reduces pain and inflammation in arthritis
  • COX‑2 selectivity means lower risk of gastric side effects compared to traditional NSAIDs
  • Effective for acute pain and menstrual cramps
  • Flexible dosing — can be taken once or twice daily depending on needs
  • Trusted brand from Getz Pharma

  1. Take the capsule orally, with or without food.
  2. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water — do not chew or open it.
  3. Typical adult arthritis dose: 100 mg twice daily for better symptom control.
  4. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible to reduce risk.
  5. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered, but skip if it's almost time for the next one. (Standard NSAID advice.)

Q1: What is Celbexx 100 mg used for?
A1: It’s used to treat pain and inflammation in arthritis (osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis), ankylosing spondylitis, and menstrual pain.

Q2: Can I take Celbexx if I have a stomach ulcer?
A2: It’s risky — celecoxib is gentler on the stomach than many NSAIDs but still can cause GI issues. Ask your doctor before using it if you have a history of ulcers.

Q3: How long does Celbexx take to work?
A3: Onset can vary — some people notice relief within hours, but full anti‑inflammatory benefits may take days.

Q4: Is there a risk of heart problems with Celbexx?
A4: Yes — like other COX-2 inhibitors, celecoxib can increase cardiovascular risk, especially with long-term use.

Q5: Can I stop taking it when pain improves?
A5: You should follow your doctor’s advice — stopping it suddenly may cause a return of pain, but you shouldn’t use it continuously without medical supervision.

Celecoxib 100 mg per capsule (active), plus standard excipients (fillers, stabilizers, capsule shell) as per Getz Pharma formulation.

  • Do not use if you are allergic to celecoxib, sulfonamides, or other NSAIDs.
  • Use caution if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, or fluid retention, as COX-2 inhibitors may raise cardiovascular risk.
  • In patients with kidney or liver impairment, dose adjustment or careful monitoring may be required.
  • Avoid if you have active gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcer disease, or a history of GI perforation. (Based on celecoxib class risk.)
  • Use with care in late pregnancy, especially third trimester, as NSAIDs can affect fetal circulation.
  • Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
