Precise Home BP Monitoring with Advanced Features

The Certeza BM-407 Arm Blood Pressure Monitor is designed for reliable, at-home monitoring of blood pressure and pulse on the upper arm. It features one-touch automatic operation, large LCD screen, WHO-classification hypertension indicator, and memory for two users (2 × 60 readings) plus average of last three readings.
It supports arm circumferences of 22–36 cm.  With oscillometric measuring technology and intuitive alerts for irregular heartbeat or incorrect cuff wrap, it is ideal for routine home monitoring or tracking trends over time.

  • Allows regular monitoring of blood pressure trends at home, empowering users with data to share with healthcare professionals.
  • Dual-user memory makes it ideal for families or couples, allowing separate tracking.
  • Large display and error alerts (cuff wrap, movement) help minimise measurement mistakes and improve reliability.
  • One-touch automatic inflation simplifies operation, making it easy for older adults or first-time users.
  • Portable size makes it suitable for home use, travel or occasional checks outside of clinical settings.

  1. Sit in a comfortable chair with your back supported, feet flat on the floor, and your arm supported at heart height.
  2. Wrap the cuff securely around your upper arm (22-36 cm circumference) about 1 cm above the elbow, with the air tube aligned along your inner arm.
  3. Press the Start button. Stay still and silent while the cuff inflates and deflates; your measurement will appear on the screen.
  4. After the reading, note the systolic, diastolic and pulse values. If needed, use the memory recall to check past readings or the average of last 3 readings feature.
  5. Repeat the reading after a 1-minute rest for best accuracy, then store the result for trend tracking. Turn the unit off and store upright in its pouch until next use.

1. Can two people use this monitor and keep separate readings?
Yes — the BM-407 offers memory for two users (2 × 60 readings) so each person can track their data without mixing.

2. What arm size does the cuff support?
It supports upper arm circumference from 22 to 36 cm.

3. What indicators does this monitor include?
It includes a WHO hypertension classification indicator, irregular heartbeat detection and “average of last three readings” feature for better tracking.

4. How accurate is the device?
The monitor uses oscillometric method and covers a blood pressure measurement range of 0–300 mmHg and pulse from 30–180 beats/min.

5. Does it require an AC adapter or only batteries?
The primary power source is batteries (e.g., 4×AA in some listings) and some sources suggest optional adapter compatibility.

  • Ensure your arm cuff is placed correctly on a bare upper arm at heart level; incorrect placement or talking during measurement can lead to inaccurate readings.
  • This device is for self-monitoring only and not a replacement for professional diagnosis — consult your doctor if your readings are consistently high or you experience symptoms like dizziness or chest pain.
  • Avoid using the monitor right after exercise, caffeine intake, smoking or a hot bath; rest for at least 5 minutes before measuring.
  • Keep the unit and cuff clean; if you notice cuff damage or battery leakage, stop use and replace the component before resuming.
  • Remove batteries if the monitor will not be used for a long time; store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
